I hadn't really decided what kind of hairstyle to get, so I just gave a rough idea of what I wanted.
From there they showed me photos to figure out what I wanted and recommended colors for the dye, which made it very easy to decide for someone as indecisive as me.
The treatment was totally fine, and the coffee from the drink service was delicious.
While waiting for the color to process, I also had my nails done, so for someone impatient like me it was great to get everything done at once!
Cut, color, treatment, and nails all together cost about ¥14,000. If you did this set in Japan it would cost at least ¥20,000, so I'm extremely satisfied with this price.
I think the Japanese way of shampooing is still higher quality, but they did it properly so it's okay 👍
I went from long to a bob and from black to red; changing my hairstyle abroad was quite a challenge, but it was beyond my expectations with no complaints.
Everyone was kind!

I was on vacation in Vietnam when we finished our tour earlier than expected, and I decided to get my broken nails fixed. I found Zimi Hair Salon while walking around near my hotel and thought I’d give it a try. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel so welcome. They offered me water, gave me a comfortable seat, and even had an English-speaking staff member who made communication effortless.
I originally came in for something simple: gel nail extensions and a root touch-up. What I got was honestly one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had. The team went above and beyond in every little detail. While my nails were being done, they even offered to hold the straw and help me drink my water because both of my hands were occupied. It’s such a small gesture, but it made me feel genuinely cared for.
What impressed me even more was that they never tried to upsell me on additional services. They simply let me relax and enjoy the experience. They beautifully styled my hair after my color, treated me with so much warmth throughout my visit, and even surprised me with a bracelet before I left.
The service was exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. If you’re visiting Da Nang or even if you’re a local looking for a salon, I highly recommend Zimi Hair Salon. Thank you for making what was supposed to be a quick stop one of the highlights of my trip!
